FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
DATES THAT SCHOOL IS NOT IN SESSION
OCTOBER 19 - 20
NOVEMBER 22 - 24
MARTIN LUTHER KING,
DEC 21 - JAN 1
FEBRUARY 15 - 23
- Friday and Saturday Evenings at the End of Each Quarter -
Exhibition is the student’s night to show what they have created and to celebrate their achievements each quarter. The students’ work is a creative process that takes time to accomplish and we want a place and time for it to be displayed for others to enjoyed and admired. In the adult world, we get a project or assignment in our places of work and home and we need to accomplish it by a certain date. We typically finish this project to be shown to clients, coworkers, supervisors, or other interested parties. Our success at work and in life depends on our timely and appropriate accomplishments. So if we want to prepare students to be effective in the real world, why not mimic this in the classroom? Exhibition should be attended by all who wish to participate but especially those from the community who have contributed to the projects and the persons most interested in the success of the student, namely their family.
